It's all that I expected and hoped for, and more: many more types of treatments [modes of delivery] and many more ailments covered, than I anticipated. The recipes, and their preparations and precautions, are well written and easy to understand and follow. The glossary and different indexes are very comprehensive. And great color photos of all herbs, too! This is a welcome edition to my herbal medicine library. I highly recommend it.

★★★★★ Good Purchase. This is me just nitpicking!! I am currently in college working on an herbal medicine degree. This book is like a simplified version of our text books, which is great. For me, I would have loved to have seen a list of active constituents for each herb. However, I know that most people aren't wanting to dig that deep. I also wish that on each page of the herbs, for example ginger, that there was a spot that lists all the pages of recipes that include ginger. It's not necessary but would make things so easy to navigate and offer different ways to approach. Overall, this looks to be a great book and im glad I purchased!!
